Notes

In Quantum of Solace, two Land Rover Defender Station Wagon models are seen. A Defender 90 (SWB) Dark Blue Carabinieri police car joins the chase in the pretitle car chase. License plate CC 217-AE. Trying to stop the Alfa Romeo 156's chasing James Bond (Daniel Craig) in his Aston Martin. The second is a Long Wheel Base 110 model it's the Colonel of Police's car when he arrives and leaves the meeting with Mr. Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) at Perla de Las Lunas.

The update of the Defender in 2007 included replacement of the Td5 engine by an engine from Ford. The engine was originally used in Ford Transit. But for the Defender its lubrication and sealing system was changed for use in the extreme conditions the Defenders off-road use. Due to the new dashboard layout and ventilation system the trademark air vent flaps underneath the windscreen were deleted, but the outlines were still present.
