Notes

Disguised as a flamethrowing dragon Dr. No used this vehicle to keep the superstitious Jamaicans out of the Crap Key Island. Stories about the deadly dragon on the Island secured Dr. No from their prying eyes. Deadly it was indeed - Bond lost his guide mate Quarrel torched alive during the unequal night shooting and had to give up.

The vehicle was physically an old tractor rebuild in the shape of armoured vehicle by using metal sheets. After filming it was disarmed and scrapped. Shortly after the film debut the dragon was rebuilt for promotion purposes and the original flamethrower was fitted into the shell. Right now a replica is part of the Bond cars Section at The Cars of the Stars Museum in Keswick, England.
